Confusing message when trying to Shoot without ammo

When I learn to Shoot, and then equip a sling, and then try to Shoot it, I am told:

[LOG] You require a bow or sling for this talent.

What I'm actually missing is, apparently, an ammo pouch.

I also noticed this message when I equipped my alchemist with a bow after buying the shoot skill, I thought it was a bug or that I needed to put talent points into a skill or something it would work (this was when I was new to the game), I later realized that I had alchemist gems in the ammo slot which caused the problem but the message was not helpful. Maybe if the message said "Wrong Ammo" I would have figured it out sooner.
