Typically bugfixes are released in successive betas, but with the new add-on system that doesn't have to be the case. I am going to try to maintain an unofficial bugfix addon for beta37, and will keep updating this first post's changelog and reposting in the thread when a new version comes out. Enjoy, and remember to report those bugs on the forum so I can see them!

EDIT: It appears that the bugfix add-on does not play nicely with other addons, so make sure this is the only addon you are using. We are working on this.

EDIT: I am starting to add the bugfix version to the addon file name, so remember to delete the old addon file.

Instructions
Place the downloaded tome-b37-bugfix.teaa in your game/addons directory. Boot up ToME and enjoy! Remember to report any bugs you find in the bug forum, too.

Changelog
  • Fixed a display bug in T_GOLEM_POWER and a seriously screwy bug in T_GOLEM_RESILIENCE (thanks SomeGirl and tekrunner).
  • Fixed the unavailable preUseTalent check from actually checking equilibrium, etc. (thanks edge2054).
  • Fixed the transmog chest not picking up some items (thanks tiger_eye).
  • Fixed T_VOLCANO removing exits in the Temporal Rift (thanks donkatsu).
  • Fixed Dwarf hometown disappearing (thanks tiger_eye).
  • Fixed T_SWITCH_PLACE cloning the player (thanks tiger_eye).
  • Fixed magicMap stopping auto-explore from doing its business (thanks tiger_eye).
  • Hopefully fixed the majority of the ice block bugs (thanks tiger_eye).
  • Fixed the order of quest and death at the end-game.
  • Allowing DamageType.POISON to receive a table with dam and apply_power. Now T_POISON_GAS_TRAP uses the source actor's combatAttack, the Hydra's on_arrival uses the summoner's combatMindpower, and T_POISON_STORM uses the actor's combatSpellpower.
  • Fixed T_RELENTLESS_PURSUIT and T_SPIN_FATE interaction.
  • Changed 'encased_in_ice' to still target, but change the range to zero (thanks tiger_eye).
  • Hopefully fixing invis/stealth not properly protecting the actor from some talents (thanks tiger_eye).

I wanted to put it somewhere that it would get the most visibility, and I don't think everyone posts in the bug forum. If others think it fits better there, then lets move it.

Great idea there. Non official bugfixes can be very useful indeed, and the mod system makes it much easier to do.

I think I found a small error in the file structure of the bugfix add-on.

The 'data' folder is currently a sub-folder of the 'mod' folder, when it should be stand-alone. Ie, opening the .teaa, you should see a 'mod' folder and a 'data' folder.

I think this prevents the various fixes in the golemancy tree from being applied.

Nice catch, I'll update the first post once I get a new version of the add-on uploaded.

Multiple addons still do not interact properly, though.

V3 needs to be put on approved mods list, currently invalidating achievements at the moment at least on my end.
