crystal 'gems'

Crystal focus and its brother (whose name i forgot) have a use ability to attach them to weapon/armor respectively. Yet, I never seemed to have a weapon that qualifies. (Not an alchemist, but it doesn't say so anywhere.)

Are they bugged or am i overlooking something?

Speaking of these items.....what do they do? I'm to scared to try and use them and end up wasting the item.

If said items are voratun: they do a buttload of damage or have a buttload of armor/def.

If said items are *lesser* than voratun: they do good damage for their tier...then are useless.

They work well on all staffs and mediocre on all bows.
