Spellblaze
Hello,
I have problems with Spellblaze.
As Shalore Alchemist i am just going down in place where i start, but then i meet Spellblaze, and he is just massacrating me, it's impossible for me to escape from him, or to kill him
I don't have other classes but i want to be mage so i will stay with alchemist
Thanks

Re: Spellblaze
First of all, Mark of the Spellblaze is an optional dungeon. You should not try it before getting to at least level 20, preferably higher.
Main problem is getting sucked into the Demon Plane. Solutions:
- lots of fire resist
- it is a sustain. Use a staff of ruination, or cast disperse magic on the GC to break it.
- you don't need to completely kill the GC. If he drops below a certain percentage of HP, he will ask you to join him in a quest. (You can deny that and proceed with killing him though)
Or... Wait... Re-reading your OP, I think you are referring to the Spellblaze Crystal, the starter dungeon boss.
Yeah, he can be a pain for lower level chars. Just raise throw bomb with your first level ups, and use your golem as meat shield. Also, you can dodge some of the crystal's magic projectiles by stepping to the side. If you still can't manage, consider exiting the dungeon to the worldmap, and do another starter dungeon first. Easy ones for an alchemist would be Norgos' Lair, or Hearth of the Gloom. You can try the arena quest in Derth too, for fun. And for the 2 character levels and 2 extra generic points it will give you.

Re: Spellblaze
I think he is referring to the spellblaze newbie start to begin the game as a Shalore. That place can be tough as the caster minions can do a considerable chunk of your life at level 1. If you are determined to complete that zone first I would take it VERY slowly and make constant use of your starting shield.
When starting as a Shalore I typically do not start in that zone as it is one of the more difficult ones. I like to leave the dungeon immediately and go north to Norgos' Lair. Its very straightforward, almost strictly melee monsters and you can easily get to lvl 5-6 before attempting some of the other newbie areas.
Norgos' Lair is a little NE of Derth...which is directly north of the Shalore starting zone.
Hope that helps some...or he IS referring to the Mark of the Spellblaze and I am just rambling to ramble.....anyway...gl.

Re: Spellblaze
I am now a bit more advanced, unlocked ArchMage using my Archer and now playing as ArchMage.
The SpellBlaze Crystal was like instakilling my golem, and my firebomb was not dealing very much damage to him (One time idk how but he was almost dead, one spell and he would have been dead but he killed me first)
Also what should be the order of doing "Into the Darkness quest"?
Some of dungeons mentioned in it are too hard

Re: Spellblaze
Alchemists, especially in the early game, excel when they can hide behind their golem and use him as a wall. Scintillating Caves are therefore a very difficult place to start.
As a Shalore, in general, I recommend finding a healing/regen infusion and wild infusion (remove physical) as soon as possible. Having no source of healing is very dangerous, and without some means of removing poison, you have a good chance of dying to an overpowered poison vine in one of the starting zones.

Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
Re: Spellblaze
Into the darkness I usually do in this order:
- Labyrinth
- Sandworm Lair
- Old Forest & Lake Nur
- Daikara
Ghoul never existed, this never happened!

Re: Spellblaze
Yes there is. Armors "of the deep", helms "of the depths", and amulets "of the fish" can all allow you to breathe underwater. The Eldritch Pearl is a late game artifact that will do that too, and the Vargh Redemption ring will give you increased air capacity.

Yes, except for very very specific items, everything appears randomly.
