[b35] game breaking staff of absorption bug

I beat the ambush with a dwarf sun paladin, returned to Last Hope to hand in staff and it generates a lua error every time I try to give it to him. This is v. frustrating so I'm going back to b34.

You could always wait for b36 or ask dg to help you instead of giving up.

And there are too many b35 bugs besides to persevere

I have this same bug as well. I finally had a bitchin archmage, but i had no where to go because I had the glitchy staff of absorbtion after the ambush.
