Optical Mouse Problem!

Whenever I click to use (my term, not yours) an extended skill (staff, bomb, etc.) from the character screen options (bottom center), where the mouse becomes the targeting device, my mouse refuses to move improperly on the screen. This causes these game tools to be nearly impossible to use; and thus nullifies their existence to the player.

I am on a Mac Mini, OS 10.6.8, I believe I am using the default mouse system on this mac.

It's a problem for everyone on OSX. You can still use arrow keys to target. No idea what causes this, sadly.

I have tried arrow keys ... they are not responding ... will try again.

Try changing the directional keys to something like 'wasd' to see if the problem still persists.

Also, are you just pressing the arrow keys (which moves it to the next monster), or [Shift + arrow keys], which moves to the next tile?
