Disruption Shield kills me

I opened Disruption Shield and kept using it
and then when I leveled to lv20
it exploded and I take 2XX DAM
I just want to know why
I will not use this talent until it is fixed

Under 300 damage? That's very lucky, unless it was changed significantly for b35. It sounds like it's working as intended, exploding for all damage absorbed which is a (huge) design flaw IMO, not a bug. When it is deactivated (from running out of mana included) it explodes for as much damage as has been absorbed, with no other limit. I've had enemy shields explode for 4000+ damage several times before, killing me if I was in range. It would make for some "fun" boss fights against a daelach with 1000 bonus mana and 100 mana regen, I would assume.

Disruption shield has been changed in the SVN. It will be very useful in b36.
