Movement infusion ends too soon with Mindslayer

If I have an aura or Beyond the Flesh on, the movement infusion ends as soon as I move right next to an enemy (I just moved right next to it and have not yet attacked it). Is this intended behavior? Does this apply also to other AOE spells centered on the player (e.g. Ice Storm)?

It's a known issue, though I'm not sure if they intend to leave it as is, or suspend those types of abilities while a movement infusion is active.

There is a similar issue with Stalk, where any damage including retaliation or (I'm assuming) some kind of AoE like this will cancel the Stalk even though there is no chance of a critical on those sorts of hits..
