I'd like to see some instant percentage based heal runes.

I'd like to see some instant percentage based heal runes.

Or glyphs or items of whatever kind.

Basically something that you can use to heal an instant 10, 15, 25, or event 50% of your health.

It would of course have a decent cooldown (probably longer based on how much it heals).
But these would be amazing rare finds for most classes, especially the fighter types with lots of hit points.

I dunno. High-health races/classes already have that going for them, and bosses with these sorts of infusions would be atrocious. If you want better heals, you can invest in heal mod. I would rather see Healing infusion become instant (in line with Shielding runes). Healing just isn't very useful, compared to regen.

I'd like to see Curse of Death effects be more common. Maybe I'll work something like that into some more horror talents.

In other words, if regen wasn't so... reliable healing infusions would become more valuable.

(plus some anti-regen effects early on would train the player; teach them that sometimes regen just isn't going to cut it. Instead of getting surprised late in the game when they suddenly have zero healing.)

Yeah, I entered Dreadfell for the first time ever yesterday and made it all the way to the Far East -- had SEVERAL close calls as I had grown accustomed to relying on Regen for everything -- fortunately I had been investing into the Wild-gift healing ability to keep my summons alive longer. Though, it is worth noting, you really ought to fix Curse of Death so it shows +0.00 HP/turn on the health bar, as it's effect was horrendously confusing to me at first.
