I miss elven ruins, golem graveyard and Spellblaze (west of Dreadfall).
Is this a bug or intended?

Re: b34 Missing dungeons
The first two can move around pretty randomly, all over the west. If you don't search thoroughly, you can miss 'em pretty easily. If you've fully explored the western map, and you still can't see them, then it's definitely a bug. The last has been reported missing more than once, recently.
If I can ask an odd question, are you playing in tiles mode?

I have no idea what you mean with 'tiles mode'.Frumple wrote:The first two can move around pretty randomly, all over the west. If you don't search thoroughly, you can miss 'em pretty easily. I play the standard mode that runs when I just download the windows version.
And I do think I looked around everywhere for the dungeons I lack.

T4 has a few different graphics modes: The default is (shockbolt) tiles mode, which has quite pretty graphics. There's also a couple varieties of ASCII (read: No pretty pictures, everything represented by numbers/letters/simple symbols) mode. You can change this option in 'graphic mode' on the menu, if you'd like to make a comparison.
Apparently, some things go wonky in tiles that doesn't in ASCII -- there's at least one vault that's basically completely borked in tiles that works as intended in ASCII. I'm wondering if something similar is behind what's causing these disappearing dungeons. This suspicion at least partially comes from the fact I only play in ASCII, and I've never had any of the dungeons up and poof on me. With as much as I play, I would have expected to run into the problem at least once by now.

Re: b34 Missing dungeons
So far, all 4 games I've playeed in b34 did not have the Mark of the Spellblaze.
My latest game was also missing the Hidden Compound (Ring of Blood).
I do play tiles, but I don't see how they could cause this. It's merely graphical, right?
The dungeon entrances aren't invisible, they really are not there at all. I tried walking / hovering mouse cursor over all scarred tiles to see if they were just not being displayed, but I got no tooltips, and no "there's a stariways down into dungeon" message.

Re: b34 Missing dungeons
I also miss the Spellblaze in my current game, checked the same things like Martinuzz. Even tried to go down on every scarred tile to make sure. Playing with tiles. I'm also missing Elven Ruins, but that's not 100% sure of course. Other dungeons seem to be ok as far as I can tell yet.
Re: b34 Missing dungeons
I also encounter missing dungeons quite frequently. I play with tiles usually, switching to ASCII does not magically cause them to re-appear however.

Re: b34 Missing dungeons
Just chiming in to say that I'm encountering this as well. I am certainly missing the Mark of the Spellblaze, and I think I'm missing the Ruined Dungeon. To be fair, I haven't searched 100% of the West, so I'm not positive that the latter is missing. The Mark of the Spellblaze is absent however.
Re: b34 Missing dungeons
Also chiming in to say I'm missing it as well in about 2/6 [b34] characters. As different characters as a Yeek summoner and a Dwarf Paradox Mage.
