Proposal is to separate the music from the team files, so that you can just drop the Tome-Music.team (or some other extension?) into the same folder, and it will find the music automagically. This is so I can just copy that from a previous version instead of opening up the .team file in some archive thing, and putting the music in painstakingly.
I actually think the graphics could also be separate, but currently there are still lots of gfx being added perhaps makes it less, but maybe once the game reaches a final release stage one could separate it.
TEAM files... Seperate Media from module (music at least)

A low file size release stripped of sound, music and graphics would help out people on poor connections whilst also reducing server load a bit (surely you must pay a tonne on server charges, DG?)
Re: TEAM files... Seperate Media from module (music at least
Admittedly sound effects are less than 1mb in size.

Almost all the size is in the gfx folder, more specifically Shockbolt.
Can we just pack this and leave the rest unpacked?
The packed text files are a pain to work with and currently you have to use the zip file or the game gets bugged.

Keying in on this, so far as size goes, the music files are about 140 megs, the gfx files about 70 or so. With the majority of all that stripped out (i.e. a no music, no talent icons, ASCII only build with a few minor graphics left) T4 comes to about 10 megs. That's a mediafire link to a b34 build I did precisely that to.
As for the suggestion, if it's possible, total +1 to this. As mentioned by Grey, this would be a tremendous boon for players on slower connections or dealing with limited bandwidth.

Actually, having a great connection doesn't really help much either. It still takes me ~10 minutes to download the game each time a new version comes out, despite the fact that if it utilized all of my connection speed I would have it in less than 30 seconds. The server doesn't seem to have a terribly high capacity.
