[b34] Possible Continuity Error #2

#1 Post by Aussiemon »

Despite most people claiming that Angolwen is a secret and an achievement for 'discovering the truth about mages', Tannen in Last Hope has literally no problem telling people that he came from a city of mystics and magic and openly talks about the leader of said city of magic. Like the last one, this isn't serious at all, but still a little awkward. Perhaps he should be a little bit more secretive about it? I mean, his people are being hunted down and killed.

Not the only thing wonky about Tannen. He and a few other NPCs openly address skeletons and ghouls as Undead.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

Doesn't he only talk to you like that when you bring him a book on magic? At that point, he knows you're a 'fellow traveler' and that he can speak openly to you.

(Though, it's entirely possible for an Antimagic character to do that quest with him, isn't it? Hrm. Really, there should be a way for Antimagic / Zigur-affiliated characters to raid Angolwen itself, eventually, presumably on the return to the West given how tough some of Angolwen's luminaries are made out to be.)
