Killed by two assassin lords [b33]

Topic says it all, I was fighting the assassin lord when a second, slightly lower-HP value and possibly lower level one popped up. The clone assassin lord stuck around for well over fifty turns and I finally died when the two of them cornered me and my phase door rune popped me next to them.
