[b33] Eyeless monsters can be blinded

#1 Post by Gliktch »

Exhibit A: a sentient storm that apparently has squishy vulnerable eyes for my Eye Shot to target..

Note also that a storm probably should be immune to Heave and other knockback talents/effect, and it's arguable that enemies like this shouldn't be daze-able or stunnable either.

Thoughts? :)

I think they're not immune to bleeding, either.
However...perhaps slightly nerf their stats/make them frailer, to compensate them becoming harder to fight. Just giving them these (appropriate)immunities might end up making them significantly more powerful against some character types.

Now that I think about it, if we REALLY wanted to get all logical then I wouldn't be able to kill a storm with a sword or arrow either, so I guess you have to draw the line somewhere lol

I think it's reasonable to say that most people are happy with the suspension of disbelief when it comes to regular melee and ranged attacks damaging such a foe, but when a skill specifically says it's going for the <insert body part the enemy doesn't have>, it can break the magic a little. :|

I do love blinding things though

How do you know it doesn't have eyes?

(Edited cause the image made the forum all stretchy.)

Bleed immunity would be good too :)
