[b33] Invisible things disappearing as I move target cursor

#1 Post by budswell »

Hi, some times when I am choosing something to target (with the keyboard - not a mouse player) creatures will become invisible (and once visible). While I'm choosing a target I would have thought all invisibility stuff would be consistent for the whole turn.

Also, I don't remember Dreads or the boss of the elven ruins being invisible. Is that new in b33? I only get the odd glimpse of them, and thats wearing the Choker of Dread (+10 see invis).

It happens with the mouse as well - if you hover over an enemy who stealthed or invis'd in their last turn, they'll disappear when you move the cursor over them.

The further bug seems to be that sometimes you *can* see the stats and details of an enemy even when they are invisible or stealthed (and not showing up on the screen at all) - maybe that is a function of See Invisible though, you don't actually see them but you see what's there when you mouseover/focus on the spot..?

Dreads are perma-stealth now. Because, you know, dreads weren't deadly enough :P.

I think the "target disappearing" thing is indeed a display bug with stealth/invis.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).

Ahh, that explains it. And "See Invisible" bonuses don't help with seeing through stealth do they.
