Temporal Warden stuck in Daikara after Epoch fight

After getting killed by my future self in Daikara, I was sent to the plane with the Epoch fight (hate that fight so much, btw). Anyway after a very long battle, I killed the Epochs, entered the portal/wormhole and was returned to Daikara with my future self saying "Meet the Guardian!" There is no UI and I can't hit escape or anything. It's just stuck like that (and saved like that, I tried reloading). I am very sad because I like this character and I wanted to get the paradox mage unlock.

Has anyone else had any problems with that area of Daikara (warden or not)?

Wait, you're not supposed to fight Epoch if your future self kills you, are you?

Perhaps he misinterpreted what occurred. That whole sequence of events is quite screwy, even when reading the files I'm not sure how it's supposed to play out.

I didn't think I would fight Epoch, but I was going for the achievement, so not having been killed by my future self before, I didn't know. I did get an error when I was teleported to the plane with Epoch, which was reported, but I kept playing (what else was I to do?) Anyway, I'm stuck now.

If it's not too spoily for this section, can someone tell me how that part is supposed to play out?

From what I've seen, it's supposed to be:

1) TW encounters future-TW on Daikara 4.
choice:
2a) TW allows future-TW to kill TW. Future-TW is then supposed to go *poof* from the ensuing paradox, allowing TW to continue playing.
2b) TW actively attempts to kill future-TW. Future-TW gets scared and sends TW to fight Giggles in the Paradox Plane. When all copies of Giggles die, TW can return to Daikara 4 to finish killing future-TW.

If, however, TW is intended to fight Epoch no matter what choice about future-TW he/she makes, then presumably you're supposed to kill future-TW only after Epoch is dead. In either case, you're only supposed to be able to say "Hi!" to Giggles if future-TW says something like "Meet the Guardian!"

Same here, got screamed at by my future self, hit him a few times, and got banished to fight Epoch.

Longish bug report came up, the graphics and level layout were really weird. Killed the epoch, entered the wormhole thingie and bam... black screen. Can't do anything.
And same here, save shows to be on that black screen too, can't do anything about it.

Is there any way to fix this bug in the current version? I'm currently stuck at the start of Daikara (4), with no UI. Is there any way to change my location or reset the zone? I'm really fond of my character...
