Looks pretty

#1 Post by budswell »

Just thought I should balance out the bug reports with congrats on the new look in B32. Funny how little things like artwork and a progress bar during loading, and the talent bar as icons give the game a much "slicker" feel. Top work all involved, it looks good.

Looking forward to trying the new classes once I have them unlocked

Indeed! It's taking a bit of effort to memorize the talent icons but it's definetely worth it :) Oh, and don't forget the new shop graphics, way better than just having numbers.

Yes, I love the new artwork and the updates (necromancer, ability icons, yay!). It's worth the bugs and they'll be fixed soon anyway; Darkgod and the others that help this game are really quick with stamping out these little unfortunates.

Congrats tome4 on beta 32!
The new icons are something I will definitely be using (although there is an option to turn them off)
And I discovered a bunch of other UI option on the game menu (don't know if those where all there, but they are still new for me)

Looking good tome, looking good.

have to add my 0.02g. I've been playing since about beta 4 I used to play exclusively in ASCII 32 size characters, but since beta 32 I've switched up to the shockbolt 64x because it just looks so damn good, and with every single entity having their own tile, and being recognizably different I'm not losing any information and it just generally a lot easier on the eye. The graphical effect and styling is now superb. Also loving the new icons for abilities and looking forward to see how the status effect icons works out.

As always it goes without saying, but sometimes just have to be said. This project continues to amaze me and inspire me the attention to detail and responsiveness to community feedback is stellar. And its a pleasure to watch TOME unfold and evolve in front of my eyes.
