[b31] Game freezes for a few seconds before saving

Every time I save the game it freezes for several seconds before saving. Playing Linux version (no music). I tried changing the save options, but it has no real effect.

This is, ah, probably normal. That freeze is most likely your CPU jacking itself into the roof doing what's needed to save the game. T4 usually locks up until it's done. Saving's a pretty processor intensive thing at th'mo.

Check and see if your CPU's maxing out while it's happening. If it is, then it's normal; if not, something else is happening.

You then most likely having ' saving in the background ' disabled. If you wish to continue to play while the game saves [this will make saving last longer], you can turn this feature back on in the in game menu.

I think you misunderstood what I said. The game freezes for awhile before it begins to save. Anyway, the freezing started getting worse, so I downloaded another version of the game, transferred my save... and the problem is gone.
