Escortee: Have at thee, foul worm! Taste my steel, serpent!
Me: Oh, look, you're a little wounded. Nature's Touch, Shift-movement, Enter.
Escortee: Yay!
Me: Now stay beh--
Escortee: Villainous plant, I hack at thy roots!
Me: No, no, get behind me. Move-to-swap, Shield Pummel, Enter.
Escortee: Treacherous adventurer, I am slain! GAAAH!
The focus that I placed on the escortee with Nature's Touch apparently was remembered, and was reused as the default focus for Shield Pummel. Without any confirmation box. Even though he was friendly. Even though there was a hostile monster next to me.
This is at least the second time I've done this, although it's the first time the Pummel actually killed the bugger.

Re: Focus on NPC after Nature's Touch
Shot an arrow right at Linmir during the Jeweler quest after using 'look' to check his stats. Immediately turned hostile, really frustrating (it was the first and only time I attempted it :/). A confirmation message when an attack would hit a friendly target would be great, as would allies not receiving focus.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
Re: Focus on NPC after Nature's Touch
Yeah, I've probably killed a number of escorts that way with archers/slingers.
Re: Focus on NPC after Nature's Touch

Re: Focus on NPC after Nature's Touch
I flurried one on my rogue. Was pretty epic.
