Hi, playing as a summoner, it seems that Slasul is neutral so my summoned creatures do not attack him.
Looks like a bug?
Letting him kill one of my summons trough summon control seems to have fixed it? This might be a workaround then.
/edit never mind he can still swap places with my summons.
The workaround goes like this: Summon something. Use summon control. Use summon control again to go back to your summoner. Your summon should now attack him.

Are you summoning your hired help before making him hostile to you? IIRC there was a bug in targeting code for summons when they were summoned with no hostiles in sight.

I think it's because you can actually talk to him... But I remember him taking out all of his own minions in a previous game I played. But that was quite a lot of beta's ago.

Yeah, iirc he's a separate faction from his minions, so if you could phase door and land somewhere between him and a tide huntress, he'd prolly go berserk against that tide huntress if she shot at you, and he'd prolly eventually kill anything near the huntress too. But I think the last few betas have gotten the AI to seriously reconsider trying stuff like that.Canderel wrote:I think it's because you can actually talk to him... Yes, I was sniping him with summons before I talked to him. This is my standard tactic, I didn't even realize I had to talk to them at the time (now that you mention it, I remember it).Hedrachi wrote:Are you summoning your hired help before making him hostile to you?
He did chase me around after that, but I had to use summon control to make my summons attack him.
