Re: Advance to adsvance beyond Clevel 16 with a Human Reaver
I don't know that I can entirely speak with authority, since I've only gotten to the upper teens with my Reaver, but the only death I've had was from drowning (extremely stupid on my part). Looking through your characters, I can pick out a few things I would do differently:
I notice that you didn't mention Scintillating Cave or the Rhaloren Camp - both will help you amass some more nice gear and gain a few levels. Be careful, though. The boss of the Scintillating Cave can catch you unaware, and I occasionally run into a really out-of-depth monster just prior to the boss in the Rhaloren Camp.
- Don't put so many points into combat accuracy/weapon mastery so early. You get diminishing returns on both, and they certainly aren't needed at your level.
- Armor training, up to Massive. The fatigue penalty doesn't seem to be too bad, since I never seem to run out of vim if I'm paying attention. Granted, you may find some excellent non-Massive armor to wear, but you have very few things to spend generic points on. I'd argue that armor is more important than attack power, since you need to draw out battles a little to get the full effect of your diseases.
- Every once in a while, start boosting Con so you can put a point in Health.
- Drain is not a only a great way to restore vim when you can't get easy kills; it's a great way to get in a few more points of damage from long-range. I personally took it up to 5. I don't know about Blood Sacrifice; I'll probably pick it up at some point.
- Dude, where are your inscriptions?!? Finding a good regen infusion and a shield rune will do wonders. Don't be afraid to spend some serious cash on these. A wild infusion that cures magic and poison (at least) also seems like a great choice for the early game, since so many enemies freeze and Insidious Poison is a nightmare. Get at least four inscriptions, too. I don't think the Curses/Hexes trees are worth it by level 10. I prefer regeneration to healing, since the former combos so well with shields, but until you find something you like better, you could do both. Look for strength/magic scaling.
- I'm still mixed on this, but Bone Grab is a decent way to bring ranged attackers within arm's length.
- Cyst Burst is good against single targets... Against a mob, it's perhaps one of the best abilities. I'd put enough points in it to get it up to a radius of 2. It'll really make your Virulent Diseases shine. Catalepsy is also cool, although you should really only use it to finish off a crowd/stun something that really needs stunning.
- I'm not a huge fan of Rend... Ruin, on the other hand, adds passive blight damage to every attack. Awesome. Dark Surprise might be a little distant at level 12, but Blind is one of the coolest (if not the most practical) status effects.
- From the Reaving Combat tree, at your level, I would say pump as much as possible into Bloodlust, meanwhile getting at least a point in Acid Blood. Acid Blood is freaking great, especially against enemies with high armor. Bloodlust makes your magic hit that much harder, and I think the spellpower boost also helps overcome enemy spell save when using Virulent Disease (maybe). From the description, it's not clear that you'll build up the Bloodlust effect quickly in any protracted fight.

Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
Re: Advance to adsvance beyond Clevel 16 with a Human Reaver
The Reason I didn't Mention Scintillating Caves and Rhaloren Camp is since most Monsters fight from a distance It's not a good early dungeon for Characters below Clevel 10. I do 1 Level of the Cave just in case i need a Red Crystal for the Alchemy Quests and then complete later. the same follows for the Sandworm Cave to get the Tooth.
I've always tried to get Weapon Skill up to 5 ASAP, I'll work on Armour First getting up to 4.

Re: Advance to adsvance beyond Clevel 16 with a Human Reaver
I made a level 16 Higher Reaver just to see what it is like. It was really easy and pretty fun. Here was my plan of attack.
Class Points
My first level I got drain and bone spear. Then I got 5/5 drain. Having a unmissing 80 damage 7 range attack that cost nothing is very nice at the start of the game. Then I got Bone grab, first 3 skills of the Plague, Scourge, and Reaving Combat tree. Then I got 5/5 acid skin.
Generic Points
First level I got Weapon Mastery. 2nd level I got Combat Accuracy. Then I got 5/10 armor training. When I beat the arena I put +1 in armor training and weapon mastery. At level 10 I used my cag point on curses and spent the rest of my points so far to get the death curse because it is awesome with bosses.
Leveling Route
My first dungeon was trollmire, where I killed prox and bill the troll. Then I beat both Thalore dungeons. After that I killed the cursed boss. Then I beat the Shalore dungeons. After that I grabbed a rune of phase door and beat the sand tunnels. This is when I reached level 16. Next I'll go to the old forest, maze, and then diakra.
