Getting decent prices when selling items!

Is there a way to get good prices when selling identified items? It seems when normally selling an item you only get 5% of the items value.

That's correct. The Shop keepers are a miserly lot and follow the rule of sales perfectly

Buy low, sell high.

Gems are the only items that reliably sell well.

I categorically feed all non-gems to the chest. Schlepping them to the stores just isn't worth the trouble.

Arrows and sling shots are the highest selling items in the game. I'm always extremely happy to find 100+ arrows in a single stack.
