Three characters in a row have been instantly killed, when at full health and half a dozen tiles away, by Subject Z. I killed all enemies in the two starting Yeek dungeons so am not sure what I should be doing differently. I'm assuming he's using his movement infusion to get in close and then hack me to pieces... how is he getting in 3+ attacks before I get a chance to respond?

He tends to use infusion:movement immediately against yeeks, and daze still "freezes you". (lets spam fly, especially if he uses something else right after whatever dazed you). Your only real hope is to either daze him and set something up to keep him away from you, before his movement infusion kicks off. If stun can hit through movement infusion, use that... otherwise atm, Z's just too powerful against Yeeks. S'primarily why I don't play Mindslayers anymore.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?

I'm guessing he used Flurry (three attacks with both daggers). He doesn't always have a movement infusion, though, so that's just bad luck with the draw. I wonder if Flurry is what is giving people such a hard time. Maybe reduce the level of Flury or give it a different talent like Sweep (still deadly, but not as deadly).

Hmm, maybe when I recreate a dead character, the same infusions are generated, and so that's why he seems to always smack me around with Movement+Flurry?

I'll try to create the same character from scratch.

How did I get slowed?

I was at full health, with no negative status effects, and 6 or so spaces from Subject Z, the turn before I was dead.

I think subject Z should be disallowed ego daggers. In this instance he had two daggers of ruin, one of which was slime-covered. Hard stuff :( He can easily one-shot most yeeks coming out at level 9, and the Yeek Wayist never stands a chance.
