Unfortunately, only darkswords generate antimagic.

Amulet of Antimagic doesn't generate an antimagic field.

I don't think you get an appreciable benefit from your antimagic skill without a dark sword.

It's effective, but far less than if I had a sword, in fact, I have a Dark Sord (-5,-4) and I switch with the Scythe when it comes to fight (I hope to find a Dark Sord of Nothingness)

Huh? I think it only matters if your dark sword is (0, 0).

Of course not, the worst is the Sword, the better the effects :

****SPOILER****

Chance of disrupt = [ANTI_MAGIC_SKILL] + sword bonus
sword bonus = 10 + [ANTI_MAGIC_SKILL]@40 - to_h - to_d - pval

Radius = [ANTI_MAGIC_SKILL]@10 + sword bonus
sword bonus = 1 + [ANTI_MAGIC_SKILL]@4 - (to_h + to_d + pval) / 15

so if to_h, to_d and pval are negative, the chances and the radius increase

But I wonder something : if I read well the code, the bonus from the sword apply even if the player do not have antimagic (but it's not very effective if you don't have worse than (-20,-20).
So a Dark Sword of Nothingness would have a 100 % chance of disrupting on a radius of 14 ... not to bad
of course you can't use it for melee nor magic ... but you can still shoot

Hmm, a archer with a darksword of nothing... I must try that.

$FOO$s of Nothingness tend to generate at (-20,-20) to (-40,-40) $FOO$s of Morgul tend to have abysmal boni as well.

-40, -40?

How about mine: -51, -48. Another one generated at -30, -71.
If i'm reading the formula right, this can boost the radius to 20.
