[b27] Ring of Blood combatants target main char

#1 Post by Grey »

After running around the ring a lot to regain stamina I found some of the enemies starting targeting my main char instead of the slave. They hunched up at the edge using some infusions now and then instead of chasing me! I was very annoyed, as I'm sure you can imagine.

Edit: Also some of the spectators now target the slave combatant, though obviously they do nothing.

Annoyed? Really? Having less enemies targetting the slave was a bad thing?

Really though, this persists since the first time the Ring of Blood appears already, and I think it's more useful to you since now it's easier for you to survive...especially when trying to unlock the Brawler back then when they have only 1 regen infusion and low level Rentless Strike...
Why can't TOME 4 has a secret room where you can represent game bugs as, well, enemies you can crush like in Divine Divinity? That would be cool...

Seriously, after about 10 tries my only way of winning was to kite enemies over to the player and hope some stuck while working on the rest.
I call it a feature!

I was employing a touch of irony when I said I was annoyed.

Anyway, unlocked Brawlers on my first try and the enemy hooking certainly helped a little, but was in no way vital. The key to success is stamina management and lots of running around the pillars. I'd say the great artifact you get afterwards rather justifies the high difficulty.
