[b24] Reaver Curse of Defenselessness bug?

I've been trying a Reaver out today using the curses tree, and I've noticed that when I use Curse of Defenselessness, my miss rate goes through the roof. Could the spell be bugged to actually increase the target's defense instead of decreasing it? Or am I just unlucky?
