[b20b] Can't exit to world map with an infusion saturation
This is mostly irritating for world map encounters, where the normal thing after a fight is to tap on a regen infusion and leave. Except no, I have to wait 10 bleeding turns for the saturation to wear off whilst standing in an empty glade.

I wonder what happens if the Rod of Recall countdown finishes while you've got saturation? I don't want to break a character just to find out...
Re: [b20b] Can't exit to world map with an infusion saturati
You can't exit to the world map with any detrimental effect.
Re: [b20b] Can't exit to world map with an infusion saturati
Interestingly, anorithils can cure saturation with Providence.
Re: [b20b] Can't exit to world map with an infusion saturati
Now that IS interesting. I wonder if rune/infusion saturation should not be flagged as "detrimental." I know it is, but that would keep it from stopping exiting to the world map, etc... and if a different type of flag was used to make it not removable by dispel magic etc that would probably be good to. Or maybe it should be removable, who knows.TheRani wrote:Interestingly, anorithils can cure saturation with Providence.
<DarkGod> lets say it's intended

There's a chronomancy spell that currently removes several effects good or bad that will clear them too (clears everything except 'time' effects). I'm inclined to leave it due to the nature of the effect.
Maybe we could raise the cooldown on Providence to compensate for it's new found usefulness. On the other hand, if Providence is clearing your Saturation every round it's NOT clearing Curse of Vulnerability, Stun, Confusion, or whatever else ails you (it only clears one debuff per round). So yes it is useful but that usefulness is a bit of a double edged sword.

Providence's cooldown is already on the longish side as it is. I'd rather see Providence become unable to affect saturation than have an even longer cooldown.edge2054 wrote:There's a chronomancy spell that currently removes several effects good or bad that will clear them too (clears everything except 'time' effects). Except it's not really that detrimental an effect, and it has no logic either for gameplay or setting/realism. Indeed, it's purely an irritant.edge2054 wrote:You can't exit to the world map with any detrimental effect.

I agree Grey, I was just pointing out that if it's a red effect you can't use the world map.

Rod of recal + infusion effect works. I is not like stairs. You are not being checked for effects with the rod.
