So having determined that being a yeek summoner wasn't practical until the max-pets after death thingy is solved (it seems that this occurs even if its a phial resurection), I moved onto yeek slinger. Dangerous. Fun. Then another game-ending bug. Maybe this happens elsewhere, but if so, I havent seen it....

On the second level of ritches I ran across a small mob of monsters, so like a good yeek I ran away until my back was against the wall. I turned to face them, and the first monster in line was a green worm. Behind it was another green worm, and further back a chitenous whatzit 'I' thingy. I began to sling stone after stone at the first "w". I killed it, each time, in a single hit. I think it showed like 1 hp, so no shock. The strange thing was that it kept reappearing. I thought 'Wow, those worms reproduce fast!'. I cautiously walked up to the 'w' and began killing it with my dagger. I figured, heck, even if I get just a little xp here, this could really add up! Wrong. No xp. Left my finger on the down key, killed it maybe 500-1000 times, until I was bored of waiting for my xp counter to move from 72%.... No easy xp for me. Now I'm annoyed because I'm blocked in, so I think 'Time to use my 'Special Yeek Powers!' Took over the chitenous "I" thingy, and it ate something behind it, then ate the worm in front of it, then stepped up to the "special" worm and ate it once or twice before dying. Yet the worm continued to regenerate. I kill it some more, until I can use my 'Special Yeek Powers' to take over THAT worm... and it works. I walk through it, and like any pet it switches places with me... but unlike other pets it changes to the '@' character. I hover the pointer over it. Its me. I hover the pointer over me. Thats me too. Hmmm. I try to walk through it again... no dice. My yeeky instincts kick in and I run away to the nearest level entrance. I go upstairs, and wait a while. Then I go back down stairs and clear the level, and find myself standing in the same spot. I decide I don't like me, and I attack me. As I beat me down, it, by which I mean it-me, starts generating the "low hp" floaty messages... I cant seem to kill me, but it appears I can sure make me hurt. I try walking into me (since I still show with the green border).... Hrm, now there are three of me, and the game is locked up good and tight.

worm bug...

Again, and with a different character. This leads me to believe that the problem is somehow with the worm?
This time a halfling slinger, in Kor Pul...

And a smaller screen capture of the offending worm's info....
