Alternate graphics mode...

This is just an idea, and I wonder how many other players would use this mode if available:

Ascii Monsters with graphical (of choice) backgrounds. When I see a purple H, then I know it's the Maze boss, as well as the purple S for Kor Pul... whilst with Bill, I have to hover over him to know it's him.

I must admit I have no idea what's the ascii difference between a skeleton warrior, elite skeleton warrior, skeleton archer, skeleton mage etc. which could make me not use it if there isn't great differentiation.

This mode already exists. Hit Escape -> Graphic Mode -> ASCII with background. The menu should probably be rearranged a bit to allow ASCII/ASCII with background/Tiles to be chosen independently of the tileset, though.
