Holy cow! Just started it up. The mist effect in the Trollmire is beautiful!

The new tileset is amazing.

Everyone should try it by changing to 64x64 and Shockbolt. Since it is not the default I think many will miss it completely this version.

Well, now i know what i'm doing for the last couple hours before going in to work the late shift...

But what's this about doing less damage?? I like one-hit kills! (<3 Berzerkers <3)

And if the new tiles are as good as people are saying, i might finally switch from my beloved 16x16 ASCII setting. We'll see.

Press escape, go to graphic mode, and click on the items to change the settings. Shockbolt in 64x64 looks jolly nice :)

I must say I'm loving the new ability to assign an ability to left-click. Makes common talents much easier to use at will.

Also, new variety on values of equipment is cool, as are all the new egos. Self-crafted rings are no longer the best to be had!

It's too bad that a lot of the ego values didn't improve though. :(

I'm liking the new egos as well. The names are great and the variety is nice.

The "of daylight" weapons are incredible powerful with dual wielding, as both weapons get the damage bonus. My level ~20 reaver had a lot of fun with 2x +30 light damage on hit.

I have to say, the nicest new feature in the current beta, and one of the nicest new features to me, in a while, is the 'sum total damage output' in the log - that makes comparing damage for me so much easier...

I love the new level-up screen so very very much. The tooltip comparison thing is kinda cool, but gets very confusing with some items (especially where mastery improvements are involved).
