ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hi everyone im looking for help after purchasing the game months ago and played a few hours. came back next day and it wouldnt even launch the game. ive redownloaded it multiple times. i have no mods added except the 2 dlc packs i bought. it launches in safemode fine but if i hit new game it crashes. ive disabled shader. locked resolution at 1080p. im launching it as admin and in compatibility mode. ive read logs but it seems something different every crash. im at a loss and could really use some help ill put pc specs down below.

Please check your TOME Program Files folder for a file called te4_log.txt and post the first and last sections (say, 50 lines each) here (the full file will likely be too large to post).

If the game worked previously for you and now doesn't - review what changes you made to your system (graphics card driver updates in particular) and try rolling these back. Since creating a new game requires TOME to write to the Users folder (C:\Users\<your user name>\T-Engine\4.0\tome\save by default), make sure that you do not have anything running that could interfere with this (antivirus software or ransomware protection such as Controlled Folder Access) or at least configure it to exempt TOME.
