ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello, I used "See the threads" on my temporal warden while I was in Dreadfell and after I entered floor 9 and The Master spawned I left before killing him and when I returned floor 9 was reset with a new layout and he didn't spawn so now I can't get the staff to continue the game. Is there any way I can fix this without my save becoming invalid?

Check your Saves folder (%USERPROFILE%\T-Engine\4.0\tome\save\{your character name}\ by default) for a zone-dreadfell.tmp file. If this is present then (a) ensure you last saved game is taken outside Dreadfell and (b) rename this file to zone-dreadfell .teaz (backup the existing .teaz file first), Re-entering Dreadfell at this point might reset it to when you first started.

I tried, the entire dungeon gets reset, but The Master still doesn't spawn.

Was a .tmp file for Dreadfell present?

No, just the .teaz.
