Required reset of GPU driver after play

I'm on Windows, after playing ToME (4096x2160 Borderless) my Vscode window "flickers."
I was presented a fix to the flickering by disabling hardware acceleration in Vscode, but I restarted my computer instead. This fixed Vscode until I played ToME again. Thinking it was related to the render mode changing, I found that I could restart my GPU driver by pressing Windows Key + Ctrl + Shift + B. This fixed the flickering. To confirm, I opened and closed ToME again. Back to flickering.
I believe some setting is not getting reset or cleaned up properly in OpenGL, but I haven't looked into the code. I figured I'd just leave a post here incase someone cares to fix it.
