[1.7.6] Damage Conversion Working Inconsistantly With Spell Procs

I'm experimenting in Developer Mode with a Thaumaturgist Archmage (Endgameify Developer feature), and I've noticed that damage conversion is working strangely both with items that proc direct damage spell talents on spell use and with Multicaster. This is the case when the conversion is being caused by the Energy Alteration talent, or an equipment source such as Pendant of the Suns and Moons or Elemental Fury. Procs I've tested are those on Spellblade and Black Robe, and those caused by the Multicaster talent.
When using Pendant of the Suns and Moons or Elemental Fury, procs of direct damage spells from Spellblade will use their original damage type. Procs from Black Robe actually convert correctly. So, it seems that only some procs have this issue.
Conversion caused by Energy Alteration works (or doesn't work) similarly, with one caveat: if the proc is caused when casting a spell that matches the element of Energy Alteration, the proc spell's damage will be converted properly. For example, if Energy Alteration is converting 100% of damage to Cold, and you cast Ice Shards, then procs from Spellblade will appropriately do Cold damage. However, if Energy Alteration is set to Cold and you cast a spell of a different element, such as Flame, then procs from Spellblade will not convert.
I also tried using Pendant of the Suns and Moons and Energy Alteration at the same time. In that case, any spell used will set Energy Alteration to Light (since the Pendant deals Light damage first). In this case, it takes on Energy Alteration's weirdness. When the Energy Alteration buff isn't up yet because you've yet to deal damage, the next spell you cast will deal Light damage and the Darkness portion of that damage will convert to Light as well, and any procs from Spellblade will (seemingly randomly) either convert to match Energy Alteration's Light element or not convert at all. Following that, Spellblade and Multicast procs will convert fully to Light only if you proc them with Illuminate (as the only Light spell Archmage has which can cause procs), otherwise the procs will deal the split Light and Darkness damage caused by the necklace.
Using Elemental Fury alongside Energy Alteration works the same way as using the Pendant above, but with Fire damage instead of Light.
When using the Pendant or Elemental Fury alongside Energy Alteration, Black Robe's procs will follow the Pendant/Elemental Fury's damage conversion regardless of whether the spell which caused the procs matches Energy Alteration's element or not.
Multicaster procs seem to ignore damage conversion from the Pendant and Elemental Fury entirely, but conditionally conform to Energy Alteration conversion just like the procs from Spellblade, as laid out in my third paragraph.
The way it all works (or doesn't) is so convoluted that it's dizzying, but it's fairly apparent that something isn't working correctly.
