[1.7.6] Krog Annihilator starting without APE

This looks like a historical issue with certain races (I can see some posts from 2020 about Drem tinkers starting without an APE) ... just wanted to mention that this is still an issue, at least for me, in 1.7.6.
"Restart with same character" did not fix it (perhaps obviously), but generating a new Krog Annihilator did resolve the issue, so it seems intermittent.
