I think because of some new abilities added in patches/dlc's and stuff they aren't marked to be checked on Aether Permeation protecting against those dispels.

So I get dispelled sometimes even having up my Aether Permeation.

The case that I've noticed is that the disruption effect that's applied by weapon egos bypasses Aether Permeation. IIRC it uses the same code path as the effects of a caster wearing antimagic gear.
