If you are playing on Exploration and carry out the steps to what I've named the "Erasure Death" (which is the Temporal Reprieve + Projection + Time Skip death, see the corresponding bug report),
you will reappear in your current location, but gain the Rod of Recall.
However, on Adventure, the Rod does not appear.

Update: this is in fact an addon bug, caused by Prodigious Progress for some reason?
