ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

In Vor Pride, I was fighting in there and using See the Threads*, wound up leaving to survive because there were double elite bosses (not sure if that's normal) and upon returning, the area regenerated (which I imagine has to be intentional), but with no boss!

Is there any way to regenerate the area/boss? Or, is my run bricked?
