today, I decided to start up a new insane solipsist
however, the few times I've used thought-form warrior, he never hesitated to use death dance while I was within 1 OR 2 tiles of him, frozen or not, which did a fair amount of damage to me
this poses a tremendous issue since I plan to specialize in thought-forms and stack mind damage, which has the potential to make me get one-shotted from full hp by my own thought-form's death dance, crit or not

as early as 1.7.2, thought-form warriors would never, ever use death dance while their solipsist was within 1-2 tiles of them
so yeah this is a pretty bad bug for solipsists; please fix it by next patch

1. Yes, this is assumably due to the same reason as summons suddenly starting to friendlyfire with no restriction again.

2. You can just use Archer instead of Warrior to mitigate the effects of the bug (why you're not doing that in the first place is a whole other question)

Presumably zeyphor is using melee to build feedback for the mindstorm tree. In which case the sword & shied thoughform would also do the trick.

nah i was primarily using bowman and switching to warrior or defender when he died
