[1.7.2] Gesture of Pain used by NPC freezes game

The game freezes up during a fight with a boss, the log file reads the boss keeps trying to use gesture of pain somehow.
No real error traceback, pastebin would continue on for another megabyte or so, but I had to cut it off
edit: I could supply a copy of the save-file whre the monster is if needed
