Rat Lich dungeon inaccesible

It was an insane level game. I entered the Old Forest early, around level 7, and came back. Then I entered the Rat Lich dungeon on Old Forest level 3, killed a few enemies and left. Then I finished off the Old Forest and on my return, the auto-explore didn't bring me to the dungeon entrance and when I manually walked there, it was no longer recognized as an entrance. The option to enter simply didn't exist even though the icon of the ladder was there.
