ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

With a character made in version 1.7.2 I used the far portal a couple of times without issue. I entered a far portal that would not load its 4th level, but would instead get stuck on loading the level. I had to kill the game via task manager. I've tried going through the instance 3 times, gave up and used the recall rod.

If it helps, I ran into this issue before getting the far portal related achievement, the one where you meet an old sher'tul.
