[1.7.0] Reading the Illusory Castle

I read the Illusory Castle on the 6th level of High Peaks, and my game locked up. When I read the tome, a lua error appeared and afterwards, I was no longer able to perform actions. My character is on the screen, I can still access my inventory, but the game timeline won't increment forward. Is there anything I can do to rescue the game? Thank you!
