ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Running on windows 10, I've seen this issue in the past on previous versions and fixed it then, but I don't remember how. All icons when meant to be highlighted (greyed out on level up screen, on cooldown, sustained, etc) fail to display the highlighting correctly, with some being particularly weird looking. I've attempted restarting the game with and without graphics setting changes (shaders on/off, fullscreen/windowed/borderless, etc), but none fix the issue.

I have the same bug.
It seems to happen when my character die and i take 'restart the same character' option.


I tried to enable/disable a lot of visual option, but i didn't find how to solve it. Even with exit game and load it again, this visual bug persist.
