Just want to point out that I never see "Fade" working on my shadows, or enemy shadows. I looked at it, and it is not a passive, and I thought it was. It is an active, requiring 100% of a turn, and the AI is not using it.

Was this changed in v1.7?

Can anyone else confirm they are encountering this?

I'll test it tomorrow and confirm.

As soon as I got Fade, it was used almost immediately. If the question is "do they use it all?" then answer is "yes."

Perhaps they stop using it later or they don't use it often enough but they definitely use it. I'll continue with the class and keep an eye on it.

I am currently in an Infinite Dungeon run, and I don't see them using it. They died very fast until I upgraded them with Blight Summons, and the bone shield that comes with that.

What you may be seeing is them "Fading for a moment... and Reforming again" That is the reform ability, not the fade ability.

The log says they used the fade ability.

Well, I keep sending them at enemies with Adv. Shadowmancy Stone ability, and have never once seen them use it. Perhaps that ability "berserks" them into not using it. I will try again and just passively idle around some enemies to see if they use it.

If you don't mind, could you post a screen shot of the log and which line shows them using Fade?

Alright, so now I have a problem... I played the damn character until she died in hopes of seeing it again and nada.

The thing is, I explicitly checked that it was fade and not reform and I was sure when I posted but now I'm no longer so confident. So I will try again tomorrow.

EDIT: What I can confirm is that the Necro shadow's will use Fade (double and triple checked).

That is interesting. I wonder if the addition of the Necro's shadows have somehow messed with the Doom Shadows. Like there is a fail reference to the fade ability the Shadows are trying to use that may no longer exist.

Hum I cant see how they would not cast it; a very simple test with me letting them get it triggers Fade (both in doomed & lich shadows too)
