1.7 Nova doesn't daze

I'm pretty sure that the Archmage skill Nova no longer dazes because I've used it extensively through the first 14 levels on Nightmare and it has yet to daze even once. Might be anomalous but figured it was worth mentioning.

A simple test tells me this works just fine; maybe something more is at play ?

Okay, perhaps these two things might be happening:
1. Thunderstorm is knocking them out of daze as soon as they're dazed.
or
2. The log says they're dazed but it isn't showing up when I check the enemy info.

Ah indeed it's thunderstorm, though that shouldn't be new to 1.7 ... hum
Maybe thunderstorm should be special cased to not remove daze hum
