ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

I'm running an antimagic annihilator in the main campaign and I've just read the tome that takes you to the entropy school place. However I can't use the entropy power to advance because (presumably) the game thinks I am antimagic and can't use spells, my level 50 character is now stuck in this place, He can't die or progress.

Also, the math on the mecharachnid's haywire missiles might be off a bit, currently they do between 15-30K lightning damage, which I don't think is intended.

move once before using the heal infusion to gain insanity. then you'll be able to use the skill

Doesn't work unfortunately, the talent is just completely greyed out and reading as unavailable in the talents menu, whether with insanity or without. I've realised that I can punch myself, but have no idea what will happen if I die in that book as not me. Anyone know? Don't want to crash it and lose the character before exhausting other options.

It was this, but I couldn't show the character while in the book because, you aren't your character, you're hithre. Nothing was making it work so I just killed myself and it booted me back out of the book. Oh well, get the unlock another time. I really think it was because the game has anti-magic set to yes for my character, so even as hithre, I couldn't use spells.

Also here's the log for the haywire missiles, the crit mult seems to be what's making it squiffy

Antimagic is not the cause, as you said, you're not your own char.
But i tested anyway as an antimagic char and it worked just fine

You can retry the book as many times as you want, maybe try again, the bug might have been a one-of.

Haywire missiles should be fixed next patch.
