ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

So, I'm having an issue where all of my skills are always lit up, as in, they're never grayed out. When sustains are in use, or if runes like Shatter Afflictions can't be used, they're still lit up as if they can be. I checked with the in game chat, but no one had any ideas. I did a re-install, turned off all add ons, reset the UI etc, nothing. Any ideas?

Hm...I don't use that. It's weird because this just started happening the other day. Never happened before that.

None that I can think of. At first I thought it was just Possessor weirdness, because I've had all sorts of strange stuff happen while playing Possessors (saves not working, crazy memory leaks, crashes etc). I had been playing and had a no-save crash, and when I restarted the game this began happening. Just to see if it was just the Possessor, I turned everything off, reinstalled everything, and started a Bulwark and sure enough I still had the same issue of the buttons not graying out. It's super strange, the only other thing I can think of is to put the game on another computer and see if it's still happening.

I tried looking for additional hidden ToME files, but there doesn't seem to be anything in the AppData folders or what not.

There's a T-engine folder somewhere[it's in my user's directory, but could plausibly be elsewhere for you] which has tome data stuff in it. You could try examining that.

Ok sweet, deleting that folder and uninstalling absolutely everything worked. I lost all of my saved characters, but it's fine, most of them were completed runs anyway so it's no big deal. I can at least see when my skills are on cooldown now which is fantastic.
