ToME: the Tales of Maj'Eyal

Hello guys, Im starting this by saying I really love Tome but after this patch came out Im having while playing possessor (dont know if its linked) huge lag in game and crashes. A LOT of crashes.

I try to descrive what im doing. Im just normally playing possessor, spamming Z for clear the first floor faster. The game starts to huge lagging when it has to write something in the chat. Like it lags when I take possess a body (XXX body shatters etc) or when i make a lot of different attacks (like you do 100 damage: 1fire,3frost, 40physical etc). It starts to lag REALLY bad like you get a delay between turns of 10seconds or more. Then the game randomly crashes and i lose all my progress. Or sometimes even the savefile. Sometimes i can clear the floor, then the game starts to "skip time" like you're resting but in fact you are not and you cant do anything but quit with alt+f4 (and lose the savefile again)

I dont use any addon, only the game + expansions pack.

My computer cant be the problem its an I5 8600k, RTX 2070, 32gb ram and it happens only after the 1.6 patch.

If you need a video, i can try to make one for a better understanding, is anyone else having these problems?

For what it's worth, lots of other people are having this problem as well. Possessor is pretty busted right now due to memory allocation issues, afaik. We just have to wait for a patch.

AH ok so is it a known issue? Because atm it is almost unplayable.

Is there a way for revert patch to 1.5?

Run the exe directly, rather than through the launcher, as the launcher may attempt to update.
