using Nightsong ring isn't shown in the log

If I perform a ShadowStrike attack by using the Nightsong ring, there is no indication I used that talent in the log.
Shouldn't there be a line 'B I uses ShadowStep' ?Ran for 3 turns (stop reason: hostile spotted to the northwest (giant carpenter ant)).
B I performs a melee critical strike against Giant carpenter ant!
B I revels in the spilt blood and grows stronger!
B I hits Giant carpenter ant for 354 darkness damage.
B I killed Giant carpenter ant!
